NBA greats have spent decades sharing the keys to success — what it takes to make it and, just as importantly, what to avoid along the way.

These lessons, given in their own words through interviews, books, and other valuable resources, are the ultimate Answers to the Test. We don’t have to guess or figure it out on our own — the blueprint has already been written.

Listen as Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant, a five-time NBA champion and one of the game’s most relentless competitors, shared how he treated the world as his library, studying everything he could to learn how to become a great basketball player.

So, whether a player’s goal is to reach the NBA or simply make their high school team, the answers to the test are already out there for anyone willing to study them.

After evaluating many of these answers, we've discovered that the key to unlocking a person's true potential is mastering not only basketball fundamentals but also essential life skills.

Listen as Steve Kerr, a nine-time NBA champion as a player and coach, talks about what makes Stephen Curry and other superstars so special.

Inspired by answers like these, we created "Life & Basketball," a 12-week curriculum that combines one life skill, one basketball skill, and one Bible verse each week.

Each lesson connects a key life principle to an essential basketball skill — like teaching humility and screening, where a player sacrifices their own shot to create an opportunity for a teammate. The Bible verses serve to highlight that these life skills are rooted in biblical principles, reinforcing timeless values that shape character on and off the court. As players develop life skills, their game naturally improves. For example, understanding humility helps them recognize the value of setting solid screens, empowering them to execute with greater purpose.

Additionally, we’ve made it easy for kids to discover the answers to the test through "Our Classroom" — a centralized location filled with valuable educational resources.

Parents and coaches will also find valuable resources here to teach life skills and deepen their understanding of the game.

At On the Right Path, our goal is to get this information to kids as early as possible, knowing that the window to develop the life skills and basketball fundamentals needed to reach their full potential is small. We’re committed to making it as accessible as possible, ensuring every child has the opportunity to learn and grow.
