Our Vision
On the Right Path is a Christian-based organization whose vision is to serve others through the game of basketball, using the sport as a platform for teaching life lessons and sharing the love of Christ.
Throughout the Bible, there are many teachings on the importance of serving others.
In John 13:12-15 (NLT), we see Jesus teaching His disciples: “Do you understand what I was doing? You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and you are right, because that’s what I am. And since I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash each other’s feet. I have given you an example to follow. Do as I have done to you.”
In Philippians 2:3-5 (NLT), we’re instructed by the Apostle Paul: “Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.”
We believe that one of the most important things you can do on your Christian walk is to discover the unique passion that God has placed inside of you, and then use that passion to serve others.
As it says in 1 Peter 4:10, “God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.”
So our goal is to simply use our passion for coaching and teaching to serve as many people as possible through the game of basketball.
